Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Founded
Founded on November 7, 1938, by Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshi with the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi as an intellectual, cultural, and educational movement.
Thiruvananthapuram Kendra Established
Established under the illustrious helmsmanship of late Sri Sooranadu Kunjan Pillai and Secretary S.M. Radhakrishnan Nair.
Humble Beginnings at Kumarapuram
Bhavan's Vivekananda Vidya Mandir began in April 1995 in a rented building at Kumarapuram with classes I to V, fewer than 100 students, and 9 staff members.
Permanent Campus at Manvila
Shifted on June 16, 2003, with 247 students and 24 staff members to the serene newly constructed 2.89-acre campus in Manvila.
First AISSE (Class X) Board Batch
The first Class X batch of 29 students appeared for the March 2008 CBSE Board Examinations, securing 100% pass with 21 first-class distinctions.
First Senior Secondary Commerce Batch
Commenced the Senior Secondary Commerce stream; the inaugural batch secured 100% pass in the 2012–13 AISSCE examinations.
